The EAST|WEST Center for Wellness had been a personal vision for many years, beginning with the onset of my massage therapy education in 2001. Feeling the desire to surround myself with a team of leading professionals in complementary healthcare occupations, I have worked meticulously, one small step at a time, to turn my dream into reality. Deciding to move forward in 2008 was one of those divine moments of my life, when I knew the time for dreaming had ended – it was now time to take a giant leap of faith and give wings to all of those ideas and passions I had envisioned for so long.

When I consider the foundation for any successful project, I think of the people you chose to encircle yourself with. This is the heart of the EAST|WEST Center – gifted, compassionate and extremely talented professionals dedicated to helping you achieve your personal best in life. This is where I would like to take the opportunity to introduce to you the practitioners of The EAST|WEST Center.

Cindy Pope is The EAST|WEST Center's Licensed Professional Counselor. She is one of those women that the moment you meet her, her warm smile puts you at ease and you immediately feel her kindness. She possesses the inherent ability to make you feel safe by creating a supportive environment built on respect. There is a space that we are all entitled to – a space where we are free to be who we are at heart - and she provides just that place. Cindy listens with sincere care and tolerance. She is a truly a natural at what she does.

Next, we have Andrea Perullo, The EAST|WEST Center's  Holistic Acupuncturist. Understanding that every day is a gift and being filled with a vibrant zest to live life to its fullest, Andrea has traveled extensively around the world, dedicated to furthering her education and experience in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She devotes all of her resources to ensuring that your body and mind receive the perfect acupuncture treatment the day of your visit. Because she is dedicated to each of her patient's wellness, she will take the time to custom-design a plan that will allow you to achieve your long-term goals, as well as educate you on what to expect along your acupuncture path. Andrea is thoroughly committed to Chinese Medicine and maintains a positive and nurturing style to her craft.

Lastly, Dr. Cherie Minette is The EAST|WEST Center's Naturopathic Physician. What a wealth of information she possesses! Extremely intelligent and dedicated to the greater good of natural medicine, she is deeply passionate about the health, vitality and well-being of each of her patients. She takes the time necessary to understand your complete physical and mental composition, so that she can tailor a comprehensive wellness approach specifically for you. In addition, Dr. Minette allows you to guide your personal health care plan at your own comfort level. She can accommodate your request for immediate intervention, or she can support you towards a gradual shift to wellness.

Thank you for letting me tell you a little about my dream and the reality that is now The EAST|WEST Center. We all face those divine moments in our lives when opportunity presents itself. We can choose to either grow or stagnate. It is up to us to turn our dreams into reality, and that begins with us being well on the inside and out.
